Your kids will go ~bananas~ for these easy sandwiches!
With the start of the school year here already, we are all about finding easy lunch recipes you can make ahead of time and send your kids to school with!
These pita pockets combine the fan-favorite snack of apples or bananas with peanut butter. Bananas provide a boost of Vitamin B6 and some potassium, while apples/apple skins boast insoluble and soluble fiber content.
If your kids aren’t fans of spices like nutmeg, feel free to omit it. If you don’t have whole wheat pita pockets, use whole-wheat tortillas or sandwich wraps instead!
