Bulgur is a grain found in many Mediterranean-inspired dishes, like tabbouleh and pilaf. This nutty grain is packed with protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Bulgur is not gluten free, so substituting quinoa or another gluten-free grain would be recommended for those with sensitivities.
