Apple “Nachos” with Seeds & Granola

This recipe is the perfect way to enjoy crisp in-season apples with nuts, seeds, & granola.  Use your favorite type of apple, plain or vanilla Greek yogurt, and other ingredients like chopped walnuts and dried cranberries to spice it up!

Apples contains lots of vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals, and some fiber.  Compounds in these fruits help fight inflammation in the body and have antioxidant properties, which can help prevent the development of cancer and other chronic diseases. Pumpkin seeds contain antioxidants as well and contain unsaturated fats, which can help support cardiovascular health.
